”I think Sephora deserves to be in the Hall of Shame. I was searching for make up tips on their website and came across the “Hair Now” page. There’s a comparison between women’s current hairstyles and those of their mothers. It’s extremely anti-curl. Here’s an excerpt: ‘My mom and I both have curly hair,” confesses Jamie. “To keep it straight, she used to wash and blow dry only once a week, and sleep with it wrapped around her head the rest of the week!’ For super straight hair today, Bertolotti suggests using a wet to dry flatiron, to touch up rogue curls. I LOVE my “rogue” curls as we all should. It’s just another example of the fashion industry telling us not to be happy with what we have.”
