There was a time when curly boys and girls - and their parents - did battle each day with their hair.

Their ringlets, kinks and waves were cut short or pulled back tightly into braids and ponytails. Hair brushes were flung across the room and countless tears were shed.

Those days are gone!

Curly hair is everywhere, and kids can now rejoice in their hair’s natural texture.

In celebration of this new attitude, NaturallyCurly.com has launched CurlyKids.com, a new online community exclusively for kids and their parents.

CurlyKids.com is the ultimate source for information, product reviews, tips, advice, anecdotes and curly fun.

CurlyKids.com is a natural extension of NaturallyCurly.com, the largest Web site for curlies of all ages and ethnicities.

Over the past seven years, the site has become the go-to place for curly information, products and support. But it was time to create a place just for kids. The goal is simple: to help kids learn to love their curls at an early age and to provide them with the tools they need to make it look its best. Each month, we’ll feature new products, articles and columns.

We believe that the hair is a reflection of what’s inside the heart, and by caring for the the hearts of curly kids, we can help boost their confidence and make them realize how lucky they are.
