I have missed my curls so much, that finally after 16 months of straightening my hair, I've decided it's time to go back. I had just had my son last year and was sick of my hair. It was dry and frizzy and unmanageable. So I had a groupon and got the Keratin Straightening done. As well as cutting my hair very short, chin-length. I figured it would be alot more manageable and easier to deal with. Well it was. Then I wanted my hair really blonde-white. So I started coloring my own hair since no stylist could get it right. I ended up bleahcing my ghair.

Now, 16 months later, about to have my 3rd child and am sick of my hair. I miss my curls. I think back to last year and ask myself what I was thinking. Why in the world did I cut my hair and straighten it. Obviously we all have our reasons.

So last Saturday, the 29th of September, I diffused my hair. To my surprise it turned out crunch and wavy-straight. Ugh not much to my liking. Somehow, I don't remember how, I found naturallycurly.com and have been reading articles on the BC and Co-Wash and reviews of different products.

I went from a 3a/3b to a now 2b. Yuck. So after reviewing products, I ended up buying the Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-in Conditioner and the AG Hair Re Coil Curl Activator. I CO-Wash once a week and do a Coconut Oil Deep Conditioning treatment once a week as well. My hair is so dry from the flat iron as well as the bleaching.

So I am on my way now back to my 3a/3b hair. I plan to go within the next week and do the BC as I havent cut my hair in 16 months. I plan to take 2 inches off and also, color my hair with low-lights back to my dark blonde hair color.

I will post some before and after pictures from the past 16 months.
