Day One, Square one

Saluut, giirlys !!
So I started growing out my hair since January 2010 and i must say it wasn't easy. A lot of temptations like straightening and perms did come up but I survived. Before I discovered this website, i did the worse things you can ever do to your hair; washing it with harsh shampoos, little or no conditioner, no moisturizing oils and creams, etc. I can't even remember why i did that but hey, that is now history. Until i turned about eleven hair wasn't even that bad,



me at age 6

it just needed attention and the right treatment which neither my mom nor my dad could offer. with one side of the family having very kinky tightly curled hair, and the other slightly waved or straight hair, nobody knew what to do. this led up to many years of 'hair abuse', crying, and ponytails. Now I'm almost sixteen and im ready to rock those curls!

  • Hey, my name is Romi! a couple of years ago I made the mistake to think only straight hair was 'pretty'.My mom convinced me this year that every one has different hair and that my curls looked beautiful. Since that moment I've been transitioning :)
