Hair was blow dried with a difusser and then pulled up in a pony tail with just wisps of curls around my face. I love my curls!

Curly Hollywood Throwback
I've received many comments from friends about this photo looking like a Hollywood throwback starlet. I have 3b hair that has gone from banana curls when I was a child, to a "natural" like Little Orphan Annie when I was a teen to Hollywood throwback as an adult. I embrace my curls and think they are my signature.

Santa's Helper
This picture was taken on Christmas Eve during our romantic little Christmas dinner. My husband and I were both wearing our Santa Hats and having a great time! I always wear my hair down no matter the occasion and I have fallen in love with the Curly Girl Method. Holiday Wedding
My brother got married right around thanksgiving this year, and I was in the wedding. I loved the hair style! It is a side pinned curly thing that started as a bun, but I liked it better with the curls falling down. It was a great day, and all the bride's maids except one wore their hair curly. I, however, was the only bride's maid who did it naturally, therefore spending considerably less time getting it done. I am going to try this myself for other special occasions, since it seemed pretty easy.

Beauty Queen
Me back from a costume party in October. I curled my hair with a curling iron into little ringlet curls all over than gently put the tiara in place.But when your not going to a costume party a headband will work too lol

Christmas 2010
This hairstyle was created by twisting freshly washed hair. I washed my hair with Afroveda's carrot and rice shampoo bar, and twisted using Kimmaytube's leave-in recipe of Kinky Curly Knot Today, aloe vera gel, jojoba oil and castor oil. I wore about 20 twists for about 1 week prior to Christmas Day and untwisted that morning. This is the result....hope you like it. :-)

This is my braid out for New Years
I am loving my natural curls and the flow of them. I feel fearless and able to conquer life in general, all because I am confident with my strong curls. My curls are healthy and full of life. I felt good on New Years eve, hello 2011!

Between Christmas and New Years
I had my hair in to buns for about three days. When I finally took them down, I got these loose waves. The front it loose and the back is fasten in a bun.
