Curly Q&A

How do I style my 2c/3a hair to be big, but also defined at the same time?

by CurlsAreBeauty (2c)   category Styling

I have a mix of 2c/3a hair on my head, but as it grow longer, my curls are 'stretching out', and I don't have the same volume on top. What can I do to get as big and as curly as possible?

My current routine is washing with shampoo, and then conditioner. After the shower, I just throw it up in a towel while I get dressed, and leave it down to air dry.

You might have to have some layers cut in. The weight of long hair, especially the looser curl types, tends to pull curl out.

You can also use duckbill clips at the crown to get root height.
