Curly Q&A

How do I get my natural curl back?

by MickeyMouse (?)   category Hair & Health

When I was younger my hair was fairly curly and I liked it. But my hair has always been super thick and I don't know whether that it preventing me from getting those curls back because my hair now is just a frizz sorta curly-wavy more wavy mess. My bang curls like mad when ever it dries. I really don't know what to do any more and it extremely stressful living with this hair of mine 'cause its always different

Every time your in the shower apply more conditioner than usual, particularly one specializing in curly hair.

Did you ever straighten your hair? If yes, depending how long you straightened your hair, it could be heat damage.

I use to have a shorter haircut (just above shoulders w/ bang) that needed to be straightened or else I would probably have a little Afro going on. I eventually let my hair grow out now it's close to the bottom of my shoulder blades. I think you may be correct about the heat damage thing. I stopped straightening my hair a while ago and I curl my hair sometimes.
