How Can I Tell if My Hair is Protein Sensitive?
Today after I cowashed I used a sample of It's a 10 Miracle Deep Conditioner Plus Keratin. It made my hair very soft from roots to my ears, but although my waves were well-shaped (I did braid it while wet tho) they were still dry looking. And frizz was not at all improved. I forgot to use conditioner after but I'm not sure it would have made a difference because I've never noticed a conditioner helped my dry ends. Do you think my hair is protein sensitive? Or does it just take some time to see results? Should I actually purchase a treatment?

If your hair is protein sensitive using protein can cause your hair to become very dry and brittle, even causing it to break off. Although, your hair can still dry out from using protein if you fail to follow it with a moisturizing conditioner or you overload your hair with protein treatments ( which should be done once every 6-8 weeks). There has to be a good balance of both to maintain the health of your hair. I hope this helped. Best wishes.
