How can I start getting my hair back into good condition?
i am 14 , type 2 C I have been straightening my hair a lot recently now whenever I leave my hair natural it's just a massive frizz ball with random waves and is very dry and coarse which leads me to straighten my hair again but it still looks frizzy and starts to curl up right after I've straightened it but I can't seem to break the cycle. I really need to get my hair back into a healthy condition and my natural curls back any advice?!?!

Transitioning isn't the easiest. You have to be patient. Deep Conditioning at least once a week I have 2c hair too. I used to straighten my hair everyday for 2-3 years straight and my hair was dead.

First thing you need to do is stop flat ironing your hair. I know it's hard, but you can do it! When your hair looks like a hot mess, instead of reaching for the flat iron, reach for a bottle of water and spray your hair into submission. There are lots of things you need to be doing to get your hair healthy again, I recommend reading this article and doing all these tips.
The most important ones are:
1. Don't shampoo everyday, and maybe even try cowashing. Cowashing is what curlies do to make sure they keep the moisture in their hair when they shower. They basically wash their hair with conditioner. Here's a good article about it.
2. Don't brush your hair when it's dry! Brushing separates the curl and leaves our hair a big poofy mess. Instead, comb your hair in the shower with a wide tooth comb.
3. Find a good gel, mousse, or curl cream, and scrunch it into your wet hair instead of using the flat iron. Your hair products are your most important tool. Keep trying new products until you find the right one.
If you do all these things and the things in the article, your hair will be very healthy. Good luck! Ask me any questions!
