Hey ladies, what is a good protective hair style for 3b/c... I was thinking about box braids

I recently did a french braid as a protective style whilst traveling and it worked pretty well for me, but like KinkyWinky said just play around and see what works best for you, lots of options!

Buns, ponytails. Play around with the part to make it more interesting. Spritz with water/conditioner mix first.

Whatever you do, keep these in mind:

Make sure you still take care of your scalp health. Oil your scalp, don't pull your natural hair TOO tightly, and cleanse or co-wash your hair as often as you would without the protective style in it. Keep it moisturized! And don't pull your braids into styles that are too tight. This will cause friction & breakage on your ends.
