Sixteen and need hair help!!

I'm sixteen and just started getting setious about my curls. Normally I just braid when wet and sleep on it. But since it is summer I've been experimenting with my hair and letting it do its thing. My hair is somewhere between 2b and 2c. Can y'all recomend some products that work that I can get from walmart, walgreens, or target?

A cheap product I like to use is Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In Smoothing Cream. It's about 2 bucks at Walmart, lasts a long time, and gives my 2c hair just enough but not too much moisture. Your hair looks more 2b to me BTW.

Mixed chicks is great, I also recommend the EverCurl line by Loreal...it comes in pretty blue bottles. You can find them at Target. SheaMoisture is a classic line that all hairtypes love, so you can't go wrong with that, also available at Target and most drug stores.

Your hair is beautiful! Good luck!

My daughter's hair is similar to yours. Mixed Chicks (online and at Target) works well for her. Applying the leave-in conditioner at night to damp hair that has been braided. Hair looks great the next morning when braid is undone.
