Since achieving stardom, Timberlake ’s blond curls — now shorn — have been more closely scrutinized than his ex-girlfriend’s navel. “When he had curly hair, we’d joke around with him, like, ‘Uh-oh! Curl No. 66 is out of place!’ ” says Bass. “He wants to make sure he looks good.”
