A Carol's Daughter like hair balm, but less expensive and easy to come by. Good for the scalp. Great for ends that need a little more moisture. I use it after my leave in conditioner before my curl Read More...

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs of Shea Butter
  • 1 stick/ 1oz of Coco Butter
  • 3 Tbs of Coconut oil
  • 1/8-1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/8 cup of Saffron Oil

Directions

1. Melt Shea butter, Coco Butter and Coconut together in a container (best are old tubs of product that have been cleaned out) until completely liquid.

2.Stir in Olive and Saffron oil until the container is full. Cover and place in refrigerator to cool.

3. At room temp it should be a semi solid that melts easily in the hands for use.

4. Enjoy. I often use this after my leave in conditioner before my curl defining product to moisturize my scalp and tips of my hair. I've had significantly softer (still defined) curls since I've started using this.

I'm a 2 b/c and I really really love this. I use it to SOTC and it makes my curls/waves really soft and extra shiny. If I'm not going to do my hair to go somewhere I'll just scrunch some in after I shower, still helps with curl definition.
