Just had another great haicut at Salon Meucci. Unfortunately Farnaz no longer works there, but I discovered another little gem by the name of Heidi. She has stick straight hair herself, but was able to correct a really weird cut I received at another (much pricier!) salon in the area. She cut my hair while dry and thinned out the layers in a way that left them beautifully shaped, rather than the bizarre "stair steps" they were before that. Will definitely be going back.
I didn't walk out of there feeling fabulous. I actually had to add product when I got home, but Farnaz does seem to know what she's doing and did cut my hair the way I asked her to. Would I go back? Well, when I'm paying a professional to do my hair, I like it to look like it's professionally done when I walk out the door.
I went to Salon Meucci based on an earlier review from this site. I really enjoyed the whole experience, as did my two-year old who was made to feel very welcome. Farnaz herself turned out to be a lovely person - warm and intelligent - and also an AMAZING stylist. I'm almost 38 and I can honestly say this is the first time I've truly been in love with my curly locks. My long hair is now completely wash and go, and has never looked more polished. Farnaz is most definitely a keeper.
