Amy Jo went to the day training in Deva cuts and offer a "curly" cut which is somewhere in between. It's like getting a dry Ouidad cut. She did a horrible job styling my hair after. I went in with beautiful soft curls and left with stingy waves and some pieces straight combed with gel. I was able to hold off on crying in the salon because I knew that she styled it badly and it would look different after I did it myself. I went straight home and re did my hair. I think she did a horrible job. I waited 2 months to write a review because I wanted to be able to have a full picture of my hair before I wrote a bad review. I have very uneven hair, it looks bad. There have been some curls I've had to cut my self to try and even it out... There are still some LARGE chunks that are two inches shorter than the rest of my hair. I will never go back and don't think that any one should

Amy Jo did a great cut for me. I used to go to DC and Baltimore for cuts but now just have a short drive.

Stephanie is the other curly hair cut stylist un the salon. I absolutely LoVE her! Although expensive, it is worth the price for the quality care you receive every time.

I have been going to Amy Jo for years. She's always done a wonderful job cutting my curly hair compared to other stylists. I have seen a huge difference in my hair now that she's doing the "Curly Cut". It is expensive ($75), but I only need a haircut every 3 months. My hair does not get split ends like it used to and I don't have to put my hair up in a ponytail because I'm disgusted with it! Amy Jo knows about the curly hair products first hand because she has curly hair too! I highly recommend Amy Jo. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else!

I've been going to a salon in Maryland (over an hour away) to get a Ouidad cut for the past several years. At $125 I only go about 2 times a year. After reading a review on this website about Amy Jo I decided to give it a try. She was terrific!! As many of you know it's scary going somewhere new. She is trained in the DevaCurl cut and I am so pleased with the way my haircut turned out. Not to mention it was only $70 and only 15 minutes from my house! From now on this is the salon I will go to. She was extremely patient with my many concerns and crazy questions, I highly recommend her for anyone in the area with curly hair!

I've had two decent hair cuts in my 20 year curly hair history. They were both flukes - until Amy Jo. She's trained in the DevaCurl technique. She rocks. She understands curly hair and does a phenomenal cut. Can't afford this cut often ($70), but it's worth every penny.
