Went to see Debbie for the first time and I am so happy!! Debbie is so full of knowledge of curly hair and does a beautiful cut!! My curls haven't laid this good in years!! if ever!! She has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. The salon is shabby chic and has a very comfortable atmosphere. I look forward to having Debbie as my stylist for years to come!! Curly girls.. check her out!!! You won't be disappointed !!
I have really curly hair and Debbie always does a great job with cutting my hair. She cuts it in a way to enhance my curls and make them look good. She is an excellent stylist. She does amazing with color as well! I have never left her shop without being extremely happy!
It has been a few weeks since Debbie worked her magic on my hair and it is still falling into place amazingly. She really took her time talking to me about different way to care for my curls.
I have been going to Debbie for nearly a year now, and I wouldnt let anyone else touch my hair. She offers so much expertise and great conversations! I have a great experience every time I go to her salon. She is REAL! Which is something I have not found in any other stylist I have gone to over the years. She is not afraid to take you outside your comfort zone, while also being a great listening to my concerns. She had me try some dramatic bangs. I realized in the first week that I didnt like them as much as I thought, so she met with me and we made them work! Could not be happier, and other people notice! I have had so many compliments since going to Debbie! She ROCKS!!!
Debbie is like the Curl Whisperer; she knows my curly hair secrets before I have a chance to tell her. She asks questions, gives advice and best of all, she understands curly hair. She does use a razor and I like it, it works well with my locks. I have 3B hair; I have asked her to cut it very short on more than one occasion and she's the only one I would trust to do it. You can trust Debbie with your curls too, I promise :)
I switched to Debbie after my regular stylist stopped asking questions and just did what she did last time, even if my hair wasn't laying well. Debbie is the exact opposite. We start each appointment with a round of 'what's working, what's not' and I couldn't be happier. My curls are behaving, I'm able to do more with them and I get a lot of compliments on color and style. I'm using less product, less damaging heat tools and I can go longer in between trims than I used to. After my first cut, my bottom layer got a bit flat after a few weeks. On cut #2, she made adjustments and now it's curling perfectly without any additional styling in the morning. Debbie really seems to like what she does, and it shows in how she treats her clients! It's the kind of place where you walk in, put your purse down and make yourself comfortable.
I was new to the area and found Debbie on line. I am very choosy about my hair and Debbie had very good references. She was so patient and knew exactly what kind of cut I wanted and I was very pleased. I even returned and got some gorgeous highlights and I will even drive from out of town as a repeat customer!!! Debbie was easy to talk to and a lot of fun...glad I found her salon.
This is Debbie....I would like thank all of the reviews I have received, so far. I learn something from each and every one. Now, I would like to review myself.... I went to beauty school in 1983 on a whim and it has been my passion ever since. One thing that I have learned (in 30 years) is ( I can't take liberties with clients hair!)I get as much info as I can about styling habits, I make suggestions,( this is when to say no), get a yay or nay and then proceed. I have many ways of cutting curly hair and using a razor is typically not one of them. The only time I would use a razor on curly hair is to cut a neckline or certain types of bangs! Curly hair is a challenge, it's unpredictable and erratic, All I can make is educated guess on a cut and then observe, learning as I go. It doesn't offend me if someone doesn't want what I suggest,(it's not my hair!!) but as a client, they do need to speak up! and especially before years have passed! It is my job to make suggestions for change, educate on how to achieve the look, and continue to learn the clients hair, every head that sits in my chair has different hair. I appreciate this site, I LOVE curly hair and I will continue to do the very best job I can on all of those glorius curly heads!! Thanks! Do SPEAK up!!
I've been going to Debbie for almost three years now and I keep telling myself to give her more chances. I found her here on NaturallyCurly.com and thought that surely with all of these good reviews, she would know what to do. Not so. My last haircut is what broke the camel's back. I told her exactly what I wanted and yet she continues to cut my hair however she sees fit. My shorter layers are now way too short, despite me telling her I liked the length I was at now and only wanted a trim on my longer layers. Now I look like I have a mullet! She also used a razor to cut my shorter layers and now the curls will not behave at all. I will be getting married in December and cannot justify having a hairdresser that will take liberties with my hair and not do what I want, especially at a somewhat expensive price.
Searching for a new hair stylist is sort of like searching for a new doctor.......difficult to find! I came across Off Mane Street Salon by looking through the Naturally Curly website and it was meant to be. Debbie made me feel so comfortable and at ease from the very first visit. I learned more about my hair in that first appointment than I ever knew before! The very first thing we discussed was what I was hoping and looking to accomplish with my hair. She truly listened to me and asked questions......Debbie knows her clients!!! She then gave my hair the royal treatment before ever laying a pair of scissors to it. I returned a few days later for the best hair cut & style I had ever experienced! For the first time ever, I am enjoying my hair instead of feeling the burden of "doing something" with it. I receive multiple compliments after each appointment and what a boost that can be to any girl! I consider Debbie not only my hair stylist, but also my friend. Thanks a million, Debbie!!!!
I went to Debbie about a month ago and I couldn't be happier with my haircut! When I first walked in she said she loved my hair color, but when she touched it she said it felt dry. I felt the same way and was so grateful when she offered a deep treatment. The deep treatment was one that she created, using a few different products. My hair felt amazing afterward and still does a month later. She explained that she uses a few different techniques when cutting curly hair. I told her what I wanted, what I didn't want and Voila! I came out of the salon with a fabulous cut AND style! For the first time in my 32 years I didn't feel the need to rush home and fix the mess the stylist had created. It was a miracle! She was very informative and has an amazing personality to boot. Even if she had destroyed my hair I would probably still go see her because she was a joy to be around. So down to earth and a great sense of humor. I will be going back in May for my next cut, definitely!
I found debbie on pinterest. All I can say is my daughter's hair has never been so gorgeous! I have used 2 other stylists in the past with my daughter's naturally curly hair and both fell short of Debbie's expertise. I honestly never new my daughter's hair could look as nice as it does. She's so knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with you to make sure you have the best looking hair in town!
My daughter's and I started seeing Debbie on recommendation from a family member who also referred my mom. Debbie has dine wonders with my daughters' naturally curly hair. We have definitely found our salon home with Debbie. My 11 year old daughter got a short cut this week and Debbie made her curls fall better than they ever have!
2014, Still seeing Debbie, she gave me a new cut just before Christmas, My hair seems to be getting curlier now that it's healthy. She put layers at the bottom of my cut and it turned out beautifully! She was a little worried, with my curls reaction, but when I styled it myself, I couldn't be happier. It is so cute!! So, on with the new year and new style!!
I found Debbie via these reviews and I must say that she is well worth the hour drive! She truly takes the time to ask and learn about your hair and how you style it. She will try many approaches in cutting and styling your hair so you leave the salon with the best result possible. Typically, I have never known if I liked the cut until after I washed and styled it myself, but I left Debbie with a wonderful cut and style. I went to a dance afterward and received numerous compliments! I would definitely recommend Debbie to any of my fellow curlies!
I have now been going to Debbie for over 4 years. I am still very happy! Debbie really cares about my hair! She has taught me so much about how to deal with my curls, frizz, dryness and humidity. Thanks So Much Debbie!
First of all the fives are NOT fabricated. Debbie is an amazing hair stylist! I have natural curly hair and have always had a hard time finding someone who knows how to cut my hair. I found Debbie four years ago from this web site and have been going to her ever since. I will never go anywhere else. She takes time to talk to you, to know your style and to perfect it. I have had different styles with her. She always follows up with me in either a text or phone call to see if I am satisfied. I now have a stacked bob and love it! I have never had so many compliments. I have referred many to her and know that my friends with curly hair are still going to her. She is very kind and patient and always willing to listen to you. She also is great at suggesting great styles for the different curls. Please do not think that because of the ONE bad review that you should not try her! If you have Naturally Curly Hair than Debbie is the stylist for you!
Curly girls, In defense of the woman who has cut my hair for years. Debbie does many different techniques when cutting curly hair, she tries one and if its not good, she will try something else. As you all know, all of our hair is different! It takes time, (sometimes longer on particular curls) to learn someones curls, Fabricated? Debbie has worked long to achieve these reviews! If the woman didn't like something, she should of spoken up, stylists don't know unless we speak up! Good luck to the woman in trying to find someone that will work as hard learning her hair as Debbie! Again, thanks Debbie for all the great cuts I have received in the last 5 Years!!
Personality alone would get her a 4, but the cut was the worst. I went to Off Mane Street in Hendersonville based on this site's amazing reviews of Debbue Owensby. Now I wonder if all those top rated 5 sheers on here are fabricated! Debbie only cuts with a razor, and on my curly hair it was a BIG DISASTER. The curl flipped in the opposite direction, and spread out in a frizzy, fanned out mess of flipped up ends, everywhere. Curls, gone! I tried to explain the issue, and decided to have her correct the problem from the first cut, to only have it done the same way again. The last and final attempt (3rd time is the charm, right?) was a technique described as the notch cut -"not a razor cut, but a razor cut" with scissors. It somewhat helped to return the curl but after the other failed attempts by razor, the damage was done to the style I tried to maintain - a short, curly, stacked bob. To beat it all my hair cuts from Debbie were ALWAYS uneven - longer on one side than the other! Debbie's remark was to tell me I was OCD, or for me to tell people it is an asymetrical cut if they dare look so hard at my uneven hair style! No thanks, I want both sides even. I did not nor have I ever asked any stylist to make my hair purposely UNEVEN. Really?! After my experience, this is why I find it hard to believe all of these post are legitimate, especially using Debbie's favorite tool, the razor, on curly hair. The razor cut destroyed my curl and original style. I wish I had listened to my gut when it said to keep looking after the first failed attempt, but again, her personality gets a 4 and I hoped she could fix the problem she created. She could not so I continued searching for the stylist that could.
Debbie is amazing. I took my best friend a few months ago because we are both curly girls, and Debbie worked with both of us and our distinct curl patterns. She educated us about our hair as she gave us our cuts. Our hair has never looked better. I am going back this week, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair.
I went to get a haircut from Debbie at Off Mane Street yesterday and she was as good as all of the previous reviews stated. She worked on my hair and educated me on everything from products, haircuts, styles, etc. for two hours. She is very knowledgeable and truly cares and understands about the problems of having curly hair. It was the first time that I have left a hair stylist and not ran home to immediately redo it.
I'm pretty sure when I left the salon curly headed angels were singing and shining lights on Debbie. She understood that I wanted a haircut to wear curly, not one that would look good straight and then I could wear it curly if I wanted to. (How many times have we curlies heard that?) She knew about different curly hair products and didn't bat an eyelash when I told her my hair preferred honey and aloe vera gel. My experience with Debbie was fantastic and even though I'll be moving out of state in a few months I am already plotting my returns around my haircut schedule. She was ~that~ fantastic!
Debbie did a fantastic job with my curly hair. She listened carefully to what I wanted and asked detailed questions about my hair care routine. During the cut she gave me great tips on how to enhance my curls and reduce frizz. The salon has a lovely spa-like feel to it that made me feel pampered. Debbie is super-friendly and made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in the door. Best of all, my hair looks incredible- I will be recommending her to all my curly girlfriends!
Debbie has done my hair for three years now and I have never had a better hairdresser or haircut to show off my wavy/curly hair! I first saw her reviews here on naturally curly and I've never looked back. Debbie really knows what she's doing with curly hair from loose curls like mine to tight spirals like my moms. Not only is she an expert on curls, but also her salon is beautiful and comfortable and Debbie herself is amazing. After my last haircut, I had at least three guys stop me and say how great my hair looked! Her cuts also hold their style for a really long time and continue to look lovely as they grow out. I could not recommend Debbie enough!!
Debbie has been my stylist for over 20 years! She has taken me thru perms, colors, grey hair, straight hair and curly hair. As you can imagine my hair has changed quite a bit over the years and Debbie has been right there with the right products, style or color to fit whatever style I wanted. Debbie educates herself on all the changing trends in styles as well as new products to help manage your hair. I would recommend Debbie to any hair type.
I started going to Debbie about four months ago. I moved from Florida to Nashville about a year ago and I was having a tough time finding a stylist who can cut curly hair well. I finally found the stylist. Debbie is great. She has a lot of experience cutting curly hair, she's a great colorist and she's reasonable. She knows a lot about hair and she listens well. It's a little bit of a drive since the shop is in Hendersonville but it's well worth the trip and you won't be disappointed. I would recommend her to anyone, even if you don't have curly hair.
She is great! My hair was fried but she worked her magic and it is beautiful now. She is a GOD sent friend and a wonderful hair stylist. Not only did she help my hair, she taught me what to do for the upkeep of my hair.. No wonder she is listed as the top 10 hair stylist in Nashville, TN.. Please please go visit this wonderful lady and find out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. :)
Debbie Owensby, the owner of Off Mane Street Salon, is so knowledgeable about hair. Most hair stylist never continue their education after completing their initial training. Debbie consistently takes classes so that she is always current when it comes to new cutting and styling techniques. My hair is fine, wavy and fuzzy-a triple threat. Debbie knows exactly how to cut and style my hair. She also takes the time to educate me so that I can style my hair at home. Personality-wise, Debbie is a hoot and her salon is so warm and unpretentious-just the way I like it!
My daughter has super curly hair and Debbie knows just how to make it work for her! She always comes away with a great cut and new ideas for how to style it. Thank you, Debbie!
Debbie is awesome!! I found Debbie on naturallycurly.com and decided to give her a try when I saw all the great reviews! I am so glad I did, I don't know that I have ever loved a hair cut this much!! She told me to come in with my hair in its natural state, so she could see what my curl pattern was like. I knew then that she knew what she was doing! I had really long hair and she cut it into a shoulder length style that I LOVE!! She also showed me how to style my hair to help with the frizz, which was a big problem for me! I will definitely be seeing Debbie for all my future hair needs! And I am referring all my curly hair friends to her. Thank you Debbie!!!!
Debbie is the best! She has a great personality and love for hair! She knows just how to make my crazy curls look their best! Thanks Debbie!!! Stephanie
Hey Curlies!! I've been seein Debbie for around 3 years now, Debbie always does a fantastic job on my hair and is very consistant with her work, she does great cuts, she does what is called a slide cut. it does a beautiful job with curly hair. And COLOR! omg! does she ever do a beautiful color!! Debbie is very proud of all the education she has had and is not afraid to share it!! She turned my hair from dry and frizzy to soft and smooth. I recommend Debbie to anyone straight or curly!! She does beautiful work!!
I have been going to Tina for two years now and I can honestly say that I would never go anywhere else! Even though she is not part owner of this particular salon anymore I still wanted to give her some recognition because she is seriously the BEST! I was nervous about getting a "new do" but she perfected it and gave me the exact hair cut and color that I had envisioned. Tina was a serious asset to Off Mane Street Salon, I can't imagine that it is the same without her there! Thanks Tina for making me feel beautiful for the past two years I always enjoy my escape in your chair :)
I had a great experience at this salon, Debbie was so sweet and inviting from start to finish. Debbie was also very knowledgeable about curly hair and really seemed like she takes pride in what she does and thats when you know you are gonna get great results. The salon was so cute and clean and hip looking. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone. Thank Debbie.
Simply put, Debbie is a great stylist. If you have curly or wavy hair, you will not believe what she can do for you until you go for an appointment. I was always so frustrated with my curly hair, constantly flat ironing it or pulling it up in a pony tail. I found Debbie and my curly hair become soft and non frizzy. Never had I found such great results before. Not only is she great with curly hair but she does awesome work with colors as well. It never fails after I get my hair done that someone always comment on it. My best advice for anyone is to try Debbie just once and you'll never go anywhere else. Thanks Debbie!!
I would recommend Debbie to anyone especially those with curly hair. She has worked on my hair for several years and I've never left the salon dissatisfied. Debbie is a awesome stylist and she takes the time to ask you questions about what you want, what you like and the best way to get the results your looking for. The best advice I could give you is try her once and you'll never want to go anywhere else. Thanks Debbie!!
I am thrilled to have found Debbie at Off Mane Street Salon. Until I found her my curly hair was a real problem to me and I was so disappointed with the other stylists that I went to. Now my curly hair is just perfect, it's no longer frizzy it's now silky and manageable. I truly recommend Debbie and you will too once she's done your hair. Thank you Debbie you're the best.
Debbie Owensby is the BEST stylist EVER!! I have had curly hair all of my life, and anytime I have ever left the salon I wouldn't be caught dead out in public!! She is GREAT with curly hair, and I looked fabulous when I left her salon!! She has been a family friend for a very long time, and does my mother's hair also, although her hair is short it's still curly, and looks amazing. We love her to death, and She is honestly the Best stylist I've EVER HAD!! I would recommend you going to see her!!! Love You DEBBIE!!!
Before meeting Debbie, I found myself constantly longing for straight here. No matter how many cuts, styles, products, pointers I had been through during my curly headed life, No stylist could Ever get it right. Then I found Debbie:) From the first experience, I couldn't have been happier with Debbie as a stylist. After 21 years of hating my hair, I finally found someone who got it right. Debbie has an extreme talent dealing with "natural curlies". She knows just the right way to cut, style and color that will make you feel amazing about your hair! Yes, my curly hair still has a personality of its own but a fun one that I have learned to love and embrace!! All thanks to Debbie!!!
I have been seeing Debbie since the spring of 2010. She really understands my hair and the different needs of different curly hair. I have anxiety about switching stylists, but I can tell you not to have any fears with Debbie. I would recommend her to anyone, especially anyone with curly hair!
I found Debbie and this salon on naturallycurly.com when I moved to the Nashville area in the spring of 2010. I really enjoy going to the salon and Debbie really understands curly hair. I have serious reservations when it comes to trying new stylists and was dreading that part of my move. Debbie made the switch easy! I can definitely recommend anyone to see Debbie, especially people with curly hair!
I have been seeing Debbie for about a year now. She approached me and asked me if I had trouble getting good cuts for my curls. I told her that I did. She told me that she thought she could really make my curls beautiful. Well, she was right! My hair has never looked so good. It was looking thin and stringy when I came in and now it is full and my curls are round, springy and beautiful. She also colors my hair and has done a beautiful job with that. My color had become very dark. She did color correction and has made it a gorgeous chocolate brown with caramel highlights and some lowlights as well. For the first time in years I leave the salon and do not go straight home to redo my hair. This lady knows curls!!
At last! I moved to the area this summer and have had several cuts & colors that were not working for me. Then I FOUND DEBBIE on this site through well-deserved glowing reviews. My hair is wavy curvy & coarse & has a natural tendency to frizz out to a triangle shape - the opposite I need for my face shape. Debbie gave me one of those magic haircuts that you wash, partially dry & go & it looks fantastic! All day & night. It's been 2 weeks and I have not had a bad hair day - I smile when I see my reflection in the mirror now and it has the professional, but funky look I love. My color was a wreck when I came in, but like a magnificent chef, she "threw on" on a bit of this & that & created a masterpiece. My hair is naturally auburn, but had been dyed dark, much to my dismay, and Debbie brought out the auburn with a flair, by touching up the roots, "throwing on" a few highlights, and finishing it with a demi-glace for pizazz. Wow! Last but not least, she is fun & delightful & cares - called me to ask how my hair is with an offer to tweak if needed.
I recently came to see Debbie thru another curly headed friend of mine. I loved her!! She was very good at listening to what I had to say and taking into account how i want my hair to look. She did an excellent job!! She gave me a beautiful color and a great cut!! She gave me a conditioning treatment that made my hair feel like silk and defined my curls at the same time. I suggest that all of you curly girls that are looking for a great stylist, GO SEE DEBBIE!!!
Sarah cut my oldest daughters hair on a spur of the moment decision. She was fabulous! She talked with my daughter, not only about styles, but what she would need to do to style her hair and take care of it properly. She offered her honest opinions and experience, and my daughter came out with an adorable cut that both she and I are very happy with. Her daddy on the other hand is going to think she looks too grown up, but he's a man...what does he know? While my daughter doesn't have curly hair, yet, it is developing, and the cut Sarah gave her showcases a lot of the natural bounce she has in her hair, and is a good style for young girls. It doesn't look too childish, nor does it look too mature. Sarah nailed it in her suggestions, and I'm glad my daughter followed what she suggested.
Over a year ago, I got a cut from a stylist that 'supposedly' knew how to treat naturally curly hair. WRONG! She cut the curls wrong so they didn't curl. One visit to Tina, and BAM, I have my curls back! She was friendly, honest, funny, and gentle. Being tender headed, it is always a risk having someone else touch my hair. I cringe when a tangle is found, and with Tina being tender headed too, she knows how to comb and brush so that there isn't any discomfort. She also cut my youngest daughters hair, and was able to make her feel at ease and comfortable. I am so very thankful that I read the reviews, and that the reviews were honest. Even though it is a bit of a drive for me, I have finally found someone that knows how to treat my hair! Tina, thank you so very much. You made me comfortable and brought back my curls.
I have long curly hair that tends to be very course, dry, and easily matted. She turned my hair from hay to silky curly bouncy hair! I love it. Very smart with hair. Not a bad drive from nashville, and worth every penny! Love it! YAY!
YOU GUYS. I'm so happy. My hair is looks incredible and is on its way to being the healthiest it's ever been. And it's all thanks to Debbie! First off, when I entered, I was greeted oh-so-kindly. Debbie is the sweetest. The conversation in the salon isn't mindless chit-chat like others I've experienced; she truly cares about giving you the most helpful information about your hair. Secondly, Debbie is incredibly knowledgeable. I felt at ease in her care. For us curly girls, you know that's rare to find. She made sure I understood what she was doing and walked me through the process of my treatment, cut, and styling. Finally, she assured me that if I was unhappy with anything after styling my hair on my own, she would be more than happy to do anything she could to get me looking and feeling my best. She even said she wouldn't be offended or get defensive because "it's not about her." How great is that?! I walked out of Off Mane Street Salon looking AND feeling great! I've never had such an exciting and worthwhile experience at a salon before. It makes me so excited to return in ten weeks! Thank you, Debbie!
I decided to go to Debbie based on some reviews I found online, and boy am I happy I did. She is great. I never knew how curly my hair was until I decided to grow it out. Getting frustrated with the tangles and at a loss of what to do next (maybe just cut it all off and stick with short hair) I went to Debbie for help. She was so knowledgeable, it was like taking a crash course in curly hair 101. With her encouragement and amazing help I have decided to continue growing it out, and it has never looked better.
Debbie is great! I havent had a good cut since moving out of Ohio...my last few experiences, had me so scared to go to another salon, I hadnt had my hair cut in over a year. It was out of control, and I couldnt do anything with it. Debbie listened to what I wanted, let me keep my length (every other stylist, just chopped it all off regardless of what I said). My hair is the easiest its been in years, maybe ever, to style. Debbie has taken me from hating my hair, to loving it again :)
Well, I've been seeing Debbie for almost 3 years now. My hair is at its best condition ever!! Debbie knows the science behind keeping hair healthy and she applies her knowledge to my hair each time I see her. She is very easy to talk to and understands curly hair more than the other stylists I've seen in my past!! I"m so glad I found her!! Thanks Debbie!!!
Best hair cut I've ever had!
All I can say is "WOW"! I was so tired of searching for stylists that truly know how to cut and style curly hair. I was very impressed with Debbie's knowledge about curly hair. I was having alot of trouble with frizz and after she finished cutting and styling my hair, my problem with frizz was GONE. After years of searching, I have found my home!
Probably the best haircut I've ever had. Debbie was very knowledgeable of how to cut and style curly hair and the price was very affordable. The quality of hair cut was the same as a 5 star hair salon at a much more affordable rate. I would recommend this hair salon and Debbie in particular to anyone wanting a cut done right.
I've been seeing Debbie for almost a year now.My hair is in great shape and is getting very long. Debbie has maintained the integrity of my hair while changing my hair to different colors. I like to change my color every so often and it takes a special knowledge of color to do this and not damage the hair. I recommend Debbie to all you curly hair girls out there. you won't be sorry!!!
I found Tina after I made a mess of my hair by coloring it myself. I really didn't know what I was doing and my hair was in bad shape. I have to color to cover graying. Because my natural color is black, I was afraid of a fake harsh color. Tina has been able to color my hair so that it looks healthier than it ever has in a very natural way. I was lucky that she specialized in naturally curly hair and really understood my hair challenges. She has worked with my hair type to give me options I have never had before.
Tina is the only stylist I've found in this area who really "gets" my hair. I suffered many years of bad haircuts after moving to Middle Tennessee and finally connected with Tina through this site a couple of years ago. I recently made the mistake of trying someone new and much closer to home, but am headed back to Tina's capable care this week. An excellent cut is worth the long drive! :)
I found Tina through a silent auction when I had extremely short graying hair. She worked miracles in helping me understand how to style my hair so that I was comfortable with letting it grow out. I also had never colored my hair and now I love being a beautiful redhead! The fabulous thing about this salon is that Tina and Debbie make you feel completely comfortable, you feel like your best friend is doing your hair.
After reading other reviews about Debbie on naturallycurly.com I went to see her. She gave me several tips to help with my curl and my frizz. She gave me a great cut and color. She is helping me to repair my dry damaged hair. She has been sincerely concerned with my satisfaction and I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED!!! Debbie recently did the Brazillian Keratin Treatment on my hair. It looks great! My hair drys in half the time and the curl is relaxed. I am so happy that I found Debbie! You will be too...give her a call and schedule your appointment.
THANK YOU DEBBIE!! I read the review on this website for this salon and decided to make an appointment. I have naturally curly hair and needed some help bringing the curls out more and styling. I went into see Debbie with medium brown, drab curly hair and walked out with incredible RED CURLY hair! I love it!! She was incredible. I would recommend her and her salon to everyone! It's amazing what a great hair color and style can do!
I contacted Off Mane Street Salon based on the review I read on the naturallycurly website. I am so happy I did! I have never had a stylist take so much time with me, and educate me so well on how to take care of my hair as Debbie did. If you live anywhere near Hendersonville, I highly recommend that you call Off Mane - you will not be sorry.
I went to Debbie based on the review here, and I'm thrilled to say that I'm over the moon with her service, her personality, and my hair. She'd never heard of the Curly Girl routine before, but she was so incredibly supportive when I told her that I do not use shampoo on my hair. She corrected my color effortlessly (salon fear had pushed me into a self-coloring nightmare), and she added the most beautiful highlights to really showcase my curls. She also gave me the best haircut I've had in years, respecting that I'm still growing out my hair while taking care of the ends that were giving me a fuzzy look. I will absolutely be returning to her, and I highly recommend her to other curly ladies looking for a salon home. On a side note, I also wanted to mention that the atmosphere of the salon is very relaxed and comfortable. I've been to other salons in which I felt underdressed, out of style, and not in the clique. That was not the case here. Debbie and the other stylists were professional but approachable, warm, and welcoming. It was a very, very pleasant experience.
I came to Debbie with an awful color and frizzy curly hair.Debbie corrected my color(it's beautiful!)She educated me on how to control the frizz and take care of my hair.I'm so glad I found her!!!
Tina is one of the owners of this salon, and has been styling my curly hair for many years. She has the heart of a teacher, and provides not only a great cut and super color results but advice on proper use of styling products and care.
