I saw Kerry a couple of times, and she is a nice person, but I didn't feel like she paid attention to the specific quirks of my hair. The cut was just ok, but she didn't really seem to know how to style my hair. she let me walk out of the salon with a frizzy, unflattering mess. I think that a good stylist should make the cut shine through by using the right products and spending time properly styling your hair. you should feel good when you walk out of the salon, and i think we curly hair girls deserve that as much as everyone else! I will not be going back.
Kerry is a Ouidad certified stylist, which I've been wanting to try for years, but VT didn't have any! A friend who is also 3b told me about Kerry, because she loves her too! I was skeptical when I saw that she had long straight hair, but she took a lot of time to talk to me about what is realistic for me and my hair, and what I wanted out of my hair cut. She also spent ALOT of time showing me how to style my hair, something no one had ever done before. It was my best hair cut experience in a REALLY long lime, and now I want to send all of my curly friends to her too!
