Jun 14, 2011 - I would probably give the salon a better rating if I hadn't had to wait so long under the dryer. I sat under the dryer so long I wondered if I should just get up and go home. While under the dryer another client was seen by Anna. I felt as a paying client I should feel like I'm the only one in that time frame. I saw other stylists who were being attentive to their clients so I felt forgotten. My hair felt really weighed down with product when I left which doesn't feel great with curly hair. I thought by scheduling a DevaStyle and Cut that I'd be taught how to manage my curly hair and create more defined curls but basically I learned to just scrunch. I'm not a fan of scrunched looked curls so I was a little disappointed at that. I did like that I was able to purchase DevaCurl products to use at home on sale. I, also, the older receptionist to be rude while checking in and out. She dismissed me by waving her hand at me. After I paid I was left standing there wondering if I was done or if she was going to invite me back. I had to ask if there was anything else I needed to do. She looked up from her computer and said no kinda rudely. I do like the style and idea of the salon. It is hip and trendy. The stylists looked really fun and fresh. I will continue to go but I'll probably see someone else who isn't so busy they have to double book.
