Jul 21, 2011 - After making the decision to go “au natural”, it was very important to find the RIGHT salon. That salon would have to be one that housed stylists that were very well versed in the care and treatment of black hair. That would also be a salon that maintained a professional, yet inviting environment and one in which I would feel comfortable in. After completing an extensive web search and stopping countless curly haired sisters on the streets of Metro Atlanta to inquire about their styles and stylist, the name Curltopia was heard over and over again. I eventually revisited Curltopia.com and reread the bios of each of the stylist and decided to make an appointment with the Giselle. Upon my arrival at the salon I was greeted the moment I stepped into the door and my experience and relationship with Curltopia began. As a person that has patronized countless salons over the last 20+ years, I was immediately impressed. I am writing this review after my 4th visit to Curltopia. Although I was impressed with both the salon and Giselle after my 1st visit I wanted to be assured that I wasn’t receiving the ever popular “new client, red carpet treatment” before recommending it to others. Each visit has been great!!!!!!! Giselle far exceeded my expectations. Not only is she knowledgeable and talented, she is also a great source of information. She has a wonderful personality in additional to being both professional and friendly. She makes every effort to ensure that you can maintain your locks and your look after leaving her chair. That advice is priceless. I have recommended Curltopia and Giselle to other curly haired sisters and will continued to do so. Give them a call and experience Curltopia for yourself.
