Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo

Nov 15, 2013 - Love this shampoo! Smells awesome with excellent moisturizing properties. Hair feels amazing after rinsing. This moisturizing poo has replaced my Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Moisture Retention shampoo, which I didn't think was possible!

Jane Carter Solution Curl Defining Cream

Sep 09, 2013 - After washing and conditioning or co-washing I rake this through soaking my wet 4a/3c hair and then wrap in a micro-towel for 10+ minutes. Just shake and go or sit under the dryer for 10 minutes. When my hair is dry, it's SUPER shiny and my curls are well defined with light hold. I've been able to achieve 2nd day hair and even a 3rd day updo with minimal frizz. I also use this to twist my daughter's 4b hair, which results in super shiny twists. With a moisturizer underneath hair feels good for 3-4 days; however, when used alone hair will start to feel dry in about 2 days. Also, I can't say I agree with the elongation properties. Scent is okay, not complaining though.

Curl Junkie Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment

Jun 15, 2013 - It's that good! Use this at least once a month and your hair will thank you, especially those who are protein sensitive. I use this on both my 3c/4a and my daughter's 4b hair with success. Just wish better scents were offered, minus 1 curl for that and the price point.

Salon Basia - St. Louis, Missouri, United States
Stylist:
Samara

Nov 05, 2010 - After growing out my 3c/4a hair for over 3 years, I figured it was time to get a curly girl cut. My previous stylist only knew how to cut my hair after flat ironing it straight. In July, I went to Salon Basia at the recommendation of another Naturallycurly member and had a consult with Samara who also cut my hair that day. She listened to me and cut my hair (which proved to be a challenge due to so many textures) to my specifications. I loved it, but as I did many wash N gos and let it grow out for several months I noticed my style actually resembled that dreaded pyramid or mushroom look. This October I went back and asked Samara for a better shape and style, she listened to me and also gave suggestions and gave me a very nice, cute cut all while dealing with the numerous textures. I LOVE my wash n go and braidouts now. Samara works with many curl types and was Deva trained in NY. I would recommend her to another curly girl for sure....P.S. Samara uses MopTop products.
