Mar 11, 2010 - I had my first appointment at The Styling Hutch last night. I made the appointment based on all of the great reviews here. The salon staff was very friendly and the ambience is very comfortable and welcoming. Kris was great! She was very personable and really took the time to ask me questions about my current routine, what I was wanting, etc. She made suggestions and explained why she was making them. She really took her time with me. Before she started cutting she fully explained what she would be doing and how she would be doing it. When she was using styling product she not only explained the proper way to use each one, but had me watch in the mirror and explained step-by-step so that I was able to (try, ha ha) to replicate it at home. She recommended products but was not pushy at all. She just told me what she suggested for me and let me decide on my own whether to purchase or not. My hair looks better than it ever has and feels great! I will most definitely be returning to Kris and The Styling Hutch again. They are top-notch as far as professionalism, customer service, and knowledge of what they're doing. A+++++++
