Apr 13, 2012 - I’m the kind of person that finds it hard to be comfortable in new places and the reason why I came here is because I really needed to tame my hair and the place I usually go to closed down. Upon walking into Christo Fifth Avenue, the atmosphere is warm and light. There is plenty of sunlight and the receptionist is so welcoming. I didn’t feel as nervous as I thought I would. As I waited to consult with Christo, I was offered refreshments and a short survey. I’m sure this is supposed to be typical of a top salon, but I’m not used to going to nice places like these and it was invigorating. When Christo came out to talk to me, I told him exactly how I managed my hair and he gave me great of tips on what I can do and how I should style it. He later showed me precisely how it’s done when I got my haircut. My previous salon always wanted to relax my hair, but I almost always refused because I wanted to keep my curls. Christo, on the other hand, completely embraced my curls. The dull color of my hair came to life as he carved away at my monstrous hair. Despite the fact that it’s Friday the 13th, I felt that I’ve been very lucky. I left the salon confident that I have found my new salon and stylist. Anyone who can make me feel amazing and comfortable the first time around has earned my loyalty.
