Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo

Feb 02, 2011 - I love the minty smell of this product. But besides that, the power of its cleaning agents are ideal. Now this product to me is more of a clarifying shampoo. On the back it has 4 dots ranging from clarify on the left to moisturize on the right. This product stops at a 2 on the scale meaning its more of a clarifying product. If you put alot of products in your hair, like creamy thick and yes heavy products, then its perfect. Also if you go long periods w/o washing your hair but yet you still keep laying products on it, then you should still have this in your stash. It can be a bit harsh if you decide on washing with it everyday. I see ideally 2x a month for every hair type. My first time using it, I could hear streaking as I washed my strands (its a good thing) but for now on I will try to keep the usage on a low since I already have very dry hair. Hope this helps someone.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk

Feb 02, 2011 - Now I rated it a 4 due to me not being completely natural. I am indeed transitioning as of now. So when it comes to curl definition I cannot speak on such but when it comes to moisturizing the hair, it is a GO! And for $9.99, you really cannot beat it compared to the other brands out here. You are talking great ingredients from a product that is easily accessible to everyone (Target) and economically friendly. I personally do not like shopping for new products over the net due to me needing a certain creamy consistency in my products. So for this item I say its a must try. You cannot go wrong. I have 4b-c type hair btw if that helps anyone. My pro pic shows a braid out of permed ends, dont let the pic fool ya lol
