Jun 01, 2013 - I'm going to go against the grain here and say this the worst gel I've ever used on either myself or my girls (me: 3b fine with a ton of hair, the girls: 2c thick and wavy and 3a super fine) We applied the Samy Fat Curls Curl Creme under this gel. It was an odd milky white consistency, which felt horribly tacky while trying to apply. Each one of us had frizzy hair that felt like straw but managed to look oily. Wouldn't bother to use again.

Jun 01, 2013 - This worked well for me and my girls ( the girls being 2c, and 3a), didn't feel like it built up while using it on 2nd and 3rd day curls and waves. It started off feeling a little sticking but 5 minutes later we had bounce, shine and no frizz.

Jun 01, 2013 - My 2 daughters and myself all tried this out. We started with the Sammy Fat Curls curl creme under it. It was a hit for all of us. I'm a die hard gel user for my 3b fine and full head of hair and this worked really well for me. The trick is to put it in soaking wet hair and to use a fair amount of it as you would gel. It dried soft and I had great curl clumping without the usual stringiness mouse tends to give. I do wish it had more hold though. My girls (2c, thick and lots of shrinkage and 3a, super fine with tons of shrinkage) both had great hair both first and second day. For both of them there was the perfect amount of hold. Their hair shined and looked like there was no product at all in it. No frizz, and both of them got the bonus of it elongating their curls and waves.
