Jun 16, 2012 - I've tried so many sulfate free "low poos", but this was the first I could honestly say was "low poo". It's incredibly gentle, hardly lathers, and it comes in a fragrance free version for my sensitive scalp. I'm also so happy to find a product I could buy locally and that is aloe free. Co-washing isn't for me, so I'm happy that this is available. It gets my scalp clean and I don't feel like I ever need to clarify.

Jessiebanana's Latest Product Reviews
Jun 16, 2012 - This product is a great RO conditioner and I also use it as my DC with a little EVOO added for that extra boost. What I really like about this product, is that with continued use I need less and less of it. That let's me know my hair is truly being moisturized and not coated. I'm not a huge "slip" person. I generally apply conditioner, let it sit, and then detangle when ready, but this product does slide through my hair fairly easy. Like with most natural products, I find it works best if you warm it between your hands first and then leave it in your hair for a few minutes. I apply it at the start of my shower and rinse it out at the end. I used to use it as a LI as well, but for my particular hair it's a bit heavy and tacky for that. I prefer the SM Curl & Shine Hair Milk for that. The only thing I would change is that I would love for it to smell like the Coconut & Hibiscus line. It's not a big deal, it doesn't smell terrible, but the Coconut & Hibiscus line smells delicious. I would rather it smell the way it does though than to have them add synthetic fragrance.
Jun 15, 2012 - I absolutely love this product. It's my leave-in and styler. It maintains moisture and gives me enough definition that I don't need to use anything else with it. Doesn't leave your hair crunchy like a gel would and doesn't build up wither. I can use as much of this as I'd like, but I find as time goes on with the SM products I don't have to use as much.
