Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream

Jan 21, 2013 - The first time I used it, It worked absolutely AMAZING. After rinsing out with cool water, it left my hair SHINY, DETANGLED, and made my curls POP! It was the first time my hair ever behaved that way on it's own WITHOUT product in it. I was in love. Too bad that was the only time I got results like that. I tried it 3 times after that, once per month and each one of those times it had done nothing. I don't know why stopped working for me. :( I added in olive oil and coconut oil like the first time and sat under drier for 30-45 minutes as well, but no luck so I had to discontinue use and now I'm on the search for another deep conditioner.

Silk Elements MegaSilk Leave-In Hair Moisturizing Creme

Jan 21, 2013 - I don't hate it and I don't LOVE it but it works well. I recently went out searching for a deep-conditioner that is moisturizing and protein-free since I have low-porosity type hair. I added some honey and olive oil to my mixture and sat under drier for 30 minutes. I de-tangled prior to adding it to my hair but it remained pretty untangled after applying and rinsing it out; also my was pretty soft but not a HUGE difference. At least not after first time using. I have used product Queen Helene cholesterol before and that gave me AMAZING shine, superb definition and detangling the first time but stopped working after that for idk what reason but I am basically comparing this experience to that experience. It's nothing that special. It works for the time being until I can find something better.

Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream

Jan 21, 2013 - I was using this for a long time because I didn't really know what else to use as my leave in conditioner. It is an alright product. Though I do like for my leave-ins to have de-tangling action and this didn't quite work well for me as far as having slip and whatnot. I recently went looking for something to replace it with because it is rich in protein. I recently found out that I have low-porosity type hair (sensitive to protein) and realized that this was causing my hair to become drier and more breakage prone so I had to leave it alone. To be honest though, I don't miss it and it really wasn't anything special to me.
