Alikay Naturals Shea Yogurt Hair Moisturizer

Oct 04, 2012 - Great smell and smooth texture. However, I had very little definition and only slight moisture. To alleviate these problems I twisted on wet hair and tried several leave in conditioners, including one from this brand. On my hair this acts more like a sealer than a moisturizer. It did a great job of sealing and reviving other stylers, but I have other products fr that. It has 3 curls because it feels really good on my hair and works well with other products. I will keep using it, but probably will not repurchase.

Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave In Conditioner

Oct 04, 2012 - Great smell and good initial moisture. However the product is glycerine heavy and my hair and glycerine are not good friends. I missed this when ordering,. I attempted to use this under several products for a twist out. Each time my hair was moist, but not defined. Also, the moisture, even with a sealer, was not lasting. I like the idea of a lighter but effective leave in, so maybe she will develop a non-glycerine formula. :-)

Beauty Without Cruelty Leave-in Conditioner

Aug 21, 2012 - Great leave in conditioner. It provides my 4b high porosity hair with moisture and definition. I use a generous amount and seal with Carol's Daughter Hair Balm and have a great (soft, coil definition, and shine) wash n go without gel. If I want more precise definition I layer gel on top. The oils, extracts, and proteins seem to work very well together to help my hair maintian moisture. If you are committed to using the CG method, I would definately give this one a try. It seems to work well with a lot of different gels as well and that is always a plus. It's economical and the ingredients are benficial I don't think I can ask for much more.
