Aug 21, 2009 - I have naturally larger curls. The stylists I have visited did not really understand my hair, trying all kinds of styles, which involved texturerizing it, which is a no-no for the curly hair! I found this when my curls looked weird and I felt miserable. I tried few salons trying to explain how I feel and what I want. The stylists said yes, I do understand and …after cutting my hair I understood that they did not understand. I found on the net the naturally curly site and salon Salwa and Julie’s name. I made an appointment with her and she was awesome, a fairy queen, a magician: because she was able to make my hair look great again, even though she had to deal with quite short hair. All my friends said the same thing, admiring her for the ability to make such a big difference in my massy hair. Besides being so very talented, she was also able to understand and sympathies with me with me right from the first moment I talked to her, not only because she has long, naturally curly hair herself, but also because she is a wonderful person: she is very friendly, easy going, an excellent listener, and a great adviser in how to take care of curly hair. I chose Julie as my hair stylist and friend for the rest of my life!
