Design Essentials Natural Honey CurlForming Custard

Mar 07, 2014 - The scent is AMAZING! I love the way this smells. I used a leave-in conditioner underneath it, raked it through my t-shirt dried hair, and did about 10 twists. I use a little bit of oil to take them down. It left my hair feeling soft yet defined. Though, you still might want to use a moisturizer or conditioner, because girl... your hair will need it. I would compare the consistency to Kinky Curly Curling Custard. So, as for it's claim to frizz free defined curls it is right on the money. The only reason Im giving this custard 4 and not a 5 is because of that price tag.

Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Tension Release Hair Wash

Mar 04, 2014 - Okay.... its sulfate free AND gets rid of the gunk. I was co-washing my hair the other day ( with a REALLY fancy and expensive brand) and as I was massaging the co-wash in my head i felt this sticky, goopy substance in my head. I knew it was bad product build up but this FANCY expensive co-wash was not getting it out. Instead of getting mad, I decided to use the tension release hair wash. I worked soooo well to remove build up. It didn't leave my hair dry or stripped. I was very VERY happy with this. Good ingredients. Lathers well. I need to use it more often to see if it helps to stop breakage but so far... Im happy!

Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Strength Restoring Conditioner

Mar 04, 2014 - It's quite good! Good ingredients, affordable, smells nice and you get a lot of product. I like to coat my hair with it and leave it on for a little bit. My hair feels super soft and manageable afterwards. I really like it!
