Dec 02, 2009 - Today was my first curly cut ever, and I went because of the reviews on this site. It takes me less than 5 minutes from my house, when I thought I would have to travel all the way to DC for a proper cut! As soon as I opened the door it was a dream: Bob Marley and international music, free coffee/tea, a letter to welcome you to the salon, and spectacular service from Marleni (the sweet lady who shampooed my hair), Wafaya (who walked me through every step of what she was doing and hooked me UP!), to the two or three other clients who were there who raved about the place also. The cut/wash/set? Just $60! I got a bunch of the products Wafaya recommended and am confidently on my way to a gorgeously curly future.
