Sep 27, 2010 - I went to Oasis because of reviews on this site and am so glad I did. I've been to Mimi twice now, in April and in August, and I'm very happy with both cuts. She's the first stylist who's ever cut my hair dry. I'm really liking the way Mimi listens to what I am trying to do (right now, experimenting with lengths I like best). I've never been able to let my hair get past a certain length without it going flat on top. But my hair is growing out nicely and keeping a decent shape a couple of months after my cuts. I get compliments on my curls, and (this is a huge) even my dad liked it last time he visited. This is the man who has ALWAYS kvetched about my "unruly" hair and told me I should cut it short. Also, I have given myself permission not to go gently into gray, and entrusted Mimi with disguising my grays with highlights. I love the result. The various colors blend well and the curly cut lends itself to disguising roots as they grow in. Consider me a happy customer!
