It's a Curl! Peak-a-Boo Tearless Shampoo

Jul 21, 2012 - I gave this shampoo this rating because I was under the impression that it was a gentle cleanser for babies' tender heads. Before this I used Johnson's baby wash and it was much much milder than this. My daughter's hair has never felt the same after using it. It was soft and she had beautiful curls. Now I struggle to keep her hair moisturized. I used the whole line of it's a curl. I wondered why this shampoo was so harsh in her hair. The Disodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate in this product is said to be harsher than Sodium Sulfate!! I was surprised to read that, and I wish I would have known before I used it. I believe this is truly a clarifying shampoo, if so, it should not be marketed towards babies!! Don't use this product if you want to keep your baby's hair soft and beautiful!!!

SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo

Jul 16, 2012 - I use this in my hair (relaxed) my daughter's hair (4a/3c) and my husband's hair (natural waves). All of us love this product. For unique hair reasons, besides the obvious natural hair no no's, I have to find products that are glycerin, protein, lemon, and coconut free. This is one shampoo that I really like. It is moisturizing and not stripping unlike other shampoos. I only use this on my daughter's scalp, but it cleans very nicely and has a great smell. This is the first shampoo that I have used where I was ALMOST fooled into not conditioning her hair Good job. Don't change the ingredients please...

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner Orchid and Coconut Milk
