Jan 18, 2012 - She knows her stuff, she's Deva-trained, and does just that. But I, personally, wasn't amazed. Maybe the Deva method just isn't for my head of hair...I wanted layers in my long, wavy hair, but Mary Ann told me it was "too thin" for such and I'd have to go short (but I wanted to keep my length), and so instead barely trimmed my ends. I felt I didn't even get a haircut...atelast not for what I paid. Fine/thin, long curlies beware? I have reccomended her to my curly friends with thick locks and they like her. A nice lady, listened to what i wanted, has a small but simple, clean salon. Just not for me, unfortunately.

Jan 18, 2012 - After my search for a curly hair cutter for 5 years, I finally found my stylist--Robyn. She's so friendly and fun to talk to as well, plus has her own head of gorgeous red curls (I don't know about you, but I appreciate it when my hair cutter is proud of their own curls :) ) ! Try Robyn, she's a great stylist and all-sround person. (I hear she's awesome at coloring and known for her up-do's as well)

Aug 27, 2010 - I thought I had already left a review for Robyn! I had my hair cut by her last spring, and was very happy with it. Robyn knew what I wanted in my haircut and did exactly that. She'll listen to what you want--no pushing, which I think is very important. She has beautiful red curly hair herself, and proudly wears it. Note, she's not a Deva or Ouidad cutter, so don't expect those techniques. But I've had a Deva cut previously, and I can definetly say that I am much more pleased with Robyn's cut. She's also a very pleasent, sweet person; I enjoyed talking to her. I've also heard she's very good with formal hair styling. I will be making another appointment with her for the fall--my search for a good curly hair stylist is over.
