Jan 26, 2010 - This was my first experience using a shampoo bar, and I must say that it was magical! I followed the Grand Mixtress' advice on cutting the bar into sections (mainly to stretch it so the remaining bar won't get wet) and rubbed it on my short, natural TWA. There wasn't much lather or bubbles, but I could see the poo on my hair. After rinsing, my hair was so soft and easy to detangle. In fact, my wide tooth comb literally slid right down my 4b hair. The smell is very pleasant and soothing, kinda like an expensive salon experience right in your own home!!

Jan 26, 2010 - Oh My Goodness! This smells so good! Just like fruit punch. But, after spraying it on my TWA (teeny weeny afro), my hair wasn't as moisturized as I thought it was going to be after drying. After adding a little more veggie glycerine, it was very soft and much more manageable.BTW, I have natural 4b hair. One more thing to note, maybe it's just me, but scalp itches alot of using this. Over my natural hair journey, I seem to have discovered that I can't use products with any type of fragrance on my scalp. To summarize, this is worth a try: smells great, does moisturize somewhat, and is totally natural. I just wished MY scalp could tolerate it!
Jan 26, 2010 - This is actually an update on this product. I actually left a review complaining about the smell of the product. I didn't want to get rid of it, so I decided to try it again. This time, I put it on my hair first, then followed with Oyin's Shine and Define Serum. Then proceeded to two strand twist a section of my hair. Not only was my hair super soft and defined, but the smell was not overpowering. My hair smelled like orange sherbet!! Wins my five stars!!
