HAIRiette HAIRiette Kokum & Marula Oil Blend

Jun 02, 2015 - This oil is very light and nourishing! Perfect for me because I have fine hair (as opposed to coarse) My hair gets greasy really easy, but I still like doing the LOC method because I've bleached my hair so many times and the LOC method keeps my hair moisturized longer. It smells awesome, similar to the co-wash - very light perfume but it lingers in the hair. i like it! I haven't used it as a pre-poo or hot oil treatment, but I'm sure it would be fine. I probably wouldn't use it that way because of the price -- I tend to be heavy handed when I use oils to detangle/treat my hair. A big tub coconut oil or bottle of olive oil works better and is more cost effective IMO. But this oil blend is great for the loc method, retwisting, smoothing down fuzzies. I have shaved sides, so this is also good to apply before I brush my sides down. A little goes a long way!

HAIRiette HAIRiette Kokum & Marula Co-Wash

Jun 02, 2015 - I used this product on soaking wet hair as directed on the packaging and it worked wonderfully! My hair was already pre-detangled with coconut oil (since wetting tangled hair is a nightmare) I added a few small scoops of the product and the slip was awesome! It felt light but nourishing. I liked that it is actually a co-wash and not a thick conditioner labelled as a co-wash, which a lot of companies do. It's in a jar, but I actually think it's light enough to be in a pump bottle or a pump/tub situation like Jane Carter curl cream. I was able to do some light finger detangling and it worked well. When I rinsed it out, my hair felt okay. I really only have hair on the top of my head, so I'm not bothered by the price since it will last me a long time. But for those with lots of hair, it may seem pricy, especially if you exclusively co-wash. I still use shampoo, I just can't be bothered with that extra step sometimes so I opt for co-washing. I would definitely continue to use this and test it the way I actually use co-washes: use it on DRY hair to detangle then scrub and rinse it out with water. That's why gave it a 4, because I still haven't tried it the way I personally use conditioner. Fragrance is very pleasant -- a very light perfume scent that manages to linger a little bit. I love the smell! Overall pleased with the product.

Coco Curls Revitalizing Conditioner

May 19, 2015 - No slip for my hair. Packed with cool ingredients, but as a conditioner, I just need it to detangle. The reason I rated it 3 instead of a 1 was because after I rinse it out, my hair DOES feel soft and amazing. I just can't finger detangle with it. Smells yummy though.
