Apr 21, 2012 - I am 18 years old and I have always hated my hair due to its out of control curls. I have always dreaded haircuts because they served as reminders of how desperately I wished for straight hair. I have never worn my hair down in my life, I have always tucked it away in a tight and boring bun. Today I had my very first Curly Girl Haircut with Debbie and was blown away. It wasn't just a haircut, but an incredible learning experience. Debbie taught me how to manage my curls from the moment I wash them to the moment they are dry. I have never had such an engaged, friendly, and helpful hairstylist in my life! She is extraordinary! Her methods and advice have led me to feel confident and proud of my curls, instead of ashamed and embarrassed. I know want to wear my hair down all the time!
