Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave-in/Detangler

Dec 15, 2013 - All I can say is WOW. I think I've found my HG! I tried this on my hair this morning prior to using my Elucence MBC and my hair detangled like butter (if that's even a correct metaphor). It's a little light but that's PERFECT for my fine hair: My curls sucked it right up and gave my hair some nice clumping. It didn't weigh it down either when I used it as a LI. It's not for everyone, and the smell is something you might have to get used to (I personally love the smell, it's sweet but since there's mango in it, it smells a little fruity/citrusy), but other than that, it's an AMAZING product. It made my hair super soft and defined my curls very nicely after applying Kinky Curly Curling Custard to it. For all of you complaining about it's size, they sell a 12oz bottle at Target for about $12. Much better than only getting 8oz for $12. I will definitely buy again! It might become my new staple. :-)

Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Fortifying Conditioner

Dec 09, 2013 - For a cheap conditioner, this isn't bad. The smell isn't bad either. It smells kind of apple-y. However, in my personal experience, I've found that I have to use a whole palm full just to get decent slip. It looks thick but it's not too moisturizing, so it's not so great as a leave-in. As a rinse-out, this conditioner just doesn't do it on its own. I have to mix it with other conditioners for it to be even slightly moisturizing. All-in-all, I would recommend investing in one semi-expensive conditioner that does it all instead of spending small amounts of money on three different conditioners. It's easier and it saves a lot of shower time. :-)

SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner

Dec 09, 2013 - As others have said about this conditioner, if you are looking for a girly smelling conditioner, this isn't it. Believe me. It doesn't smell bad, it just kind of smells plain and natural. Which isn't bad. This conditioner is great as a leave-in, but not so great as a rinse-out. If you do use it as a leave-in, however, a little goes a long way. If you have fine, low porous hair like me, make sure you don't use too much of it or your hair WILL get weighed down. For me, I use it towards the bottom of my hair, like halfway down and on the tips of it. It really does heal damaged hair though! I thought my tips would never stop looking frizzy but this does the trick! I'm giving it 4 curls only because of my personal experience with my hair being weighed down. I have to use other water-soluble conditioners with this if I want to use it as a rinse-out, which is such a shame, but it's all good. It's just not meant for fine hair, lol. Great product anyway! :-)
