May 16, 2012 - I expected nothing less when I walked into Christo Fifth Avenue. It lived up to all the rave and then some. The scene was rich and warm, filled with the drones of blow-dryers and the scent of shampoo. But forget about the scene for a second because the people there are even more welcoming. Not only does the receptionist have a sense of humor and class, but Christo himself was entertaining. Christo's personality made it comfortable for me to tell him exactly how I would like my hair. Most of the time, I’m greeted by stylists who insist on a certain method. He taught me how I can get my hair to get my hair that way and gave me a few extra tips on daily hair up-dos. Another thing I love about him is his confidence and precision. I’ve never felt so assured that my hair would come out looking beautiful before it was even done being cut. And it totally did! Not to toot my own horn, but I looked amazing! I was totally digging the products as well, and they were kind enough to give me a list of what they used. This is the kind of salon where you exit looking beautiful and knowing that it was money well spent!
