Jul 15, 2010 - Having curly hair has ALWAYS been a challenge and finding a good hairstylist seemed impossible until recently. I had been going to the same stylist for years and that's only because she did a decent job and I wanted to avoid a potential disaster b/c few ppl truly know how to deal with curly hair. My girlfriend forwarded me an email from her salon on Fifth Avenue. I checked out the website and decided to call for an appointment. I asked for the best (Christo). I was then told his price ($395) and told them that I would call back after looking at my schedule. I weighed the pros, the cons and my check book :) and finally agreed to go for it. I wasn't taking a risk, i was investing in my personal beauty. Christo was great. He educated me on my hair, consulted me on my expectations and was making me comfortable in no time. I left the salon feeling like a million bucks and will be back.
