Feb 24, 2015 - This stuff is WEIRD. I used it the first time over the KCKT and had horrible results. I used a tiny amount and it felt like someone had poured cement on my head. It felt disgusting and like every drop of moisture had been sucked out of my hair. I worked up the courage to try it again (thinking I must have done something wrong the first time) and ended up with the same dry sticky frizzy greasy mess as the first time. I stupidly bought 3 jars of this stuff before trying it during a black Friday sale, so I couldn't afford to just throw it away. Today I tried it again WITHOUT the KCKT leave in and BAM~! Tight, defined, springy curls. I always thought that the KCCC would only work on top of the KCKT so that's how I used it initially, but if you look on the KCKT bottle it actually only recommends it as a leave in for "thick coarse curls," My hair is more 3a/b and not coarse at all. Don't get me wrong--KCKT is a good leave in, it just doesn't work with the custard. Both great products if used SEPARATELY (at least for me). Anyway, I'm glad I gave the custard another shot. I would probably rebuy it if it were on sale.
