Jan 28, 2012 - I really like this but I need to be careful about what I layer with it and how much I use. I have a light hand with products when I'm not familiar with how my hair will respond (it's easy enough to scrunch in more water and product if I need it, but not quite so easy to dial it back when you put in too much). That turned out to really work in my favor. My thick MBL hair usually needs a lot of product to give it definition, but I only had to use maybe a quarter size glob of this. I first use a leave-in (Darcy's) then the KCCC then BRHG. I blow dried via Pixiecurl method and got great definition and hold with no long drying time or crunch. But for some reason my hair really soaks up whatever else is in it when I use KCCC. I don't mind now that I know that it does this, but it does mean that I need to use a bit more of anything I pair with this which is not so great. I would still repurchase this though because the definition and clumping is really beautiful!

Curl Junkie Daily Fix Cleansing Conditioner
Jan 15, 2012 - I got this in a Swap Board sale for a great price, but having tried it now I would definitely pay full price to buy it again. My hair is mostly 2b/c but there is also some 2a underneath and 3a in some of the top layers. With this crazy combination I needed to find something that would cleanse my 2a strands (that tend to get weighed down easily) but moisturize my 2c/3a strands (that dry out if I wash too often). I use this as a co-wash every other day and it leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped at all. And the peppermint smell is to die for! This could very well become my very first HG product. Highly recommend!!
