Dec 22, 2010 - Monique is very knowledgeable about all types of hair from straight to very coily. She uses the best products for each type of hair and makes suggestions for products to use when you don't go to the salon. She is very quick, but also very gentle.
Nov 20, 2010 - She is very friendly and knowledgeable about natural hair as she will recommend products that are best for your hair. The entire staff is friendly even when a customer is rude and the atmosphere is calming.
Aug 22, 2010 - I loved this salon. Not many people support my decision not to perm my hair. I haven't been to one in about 3.5 years, because a stylist convinced me to get a perm and ruined my transition phase. Monique was able to handle my hair with care and not suggest that I perm it. She was very knowledgeable and gave me good recommendations for my hair. It was nice to go to a tranquil environment, not hear someone complain about my hair, and not feel pressured to do something.
Feb 20, 2011 - I'm getting to embark on a long detangling/washing/deep condition session. I took down my twists on thursday and loved the results...again. My hair looks like it does on my profile picture. Crazaay!
