Sep 15, 2012 - 2c/3a curls. Very disappointing particularly after reading so many positive reviews. Made my hair flat and greasy looking so I tried just a very small amount which of course was like using nothing so i had a head of shapeless frizz all day.. nice. i'll try again when i'm feeling less disgusted but so far not impressed. Luckily it wasn't expensive. I read it's a knockoff of Biolage gelee. Maybe i should have gotten that instead. Their hydrating shampoo and conditioner are the bomb.

Sep 15, 2012 - I really like this product. The thing to remember is to use restraint. Too much and you will find the curl gone from your hair by lunch time unless yours are very tight. My hair is 2c/3a; loose curls, hair somewhat on the thick side. Works decently on humid days too although some of the pastes seem to work better for that. KMS Molding Paste is wonderful for rainy weather but unfortunately i think it's been discontinued.
Dec 27, 2009 - i've been using this for years. Best on humid days for frizz control.

Aug 11, 2012 - I recently had a wonderful experience at Christo. It was more than i usually like to spend on a cut but with my regular stylist moving to an inconvenient location, I decided to finally break down make an appt at Christo which I'd heard great things about. My senior stylist Rosa was so knowledgable, attentive, and had such a meticulous approach to cutting my hair. I was really impressed and would definitely recommend her and the salon to anyone who's had to suffer through bad cookie cutter haircuts. It's definitely worth the price.
Feb 15, 2009 - Low key neighborhood salon, very comfortable atmosphere. Mystie is VERY serious about hair. She has long loose curls and did a great job on my 3A hair. She really look her time. And particularly impressive was the price- less than half what I was paying at my previous stylist uptown!
