tgin Honey Miracle Hair Mask

Apr 06, 2015 - I did a deep conditioning using TGINatural's Honey Miracle Hair Mask. Before starting my healthy hair journey I never read ingredient lists, but now I do pay more attention to what's in a product. I love that the first few are things you can actually pronounce without having to have a PHD in chemistry, LOL! Water, Honey, Olive Oil, Jojoba and Aloe. I'm not as strict as others are, so cones don't bother me. This deep conditioner is not as thick as most. It almost has a whipped consistency. I combed it through my towel-dried hair and sat with a plastic cap for about an hour. Rinsing it out with cool water. My hair was left feeling soft and moisturized. It claims to help reduce shedding and breakage. Since my big chop I really haven't experienced much breakage, but overall I have seen a reduction in shedding. I love how my hair feels after a good deep conditioning. I really need to do it more often and TGIN is a great product to use.

tgin Moisture Rich Sulfate Free Shampoo

Apr 06, 2015 - I started tonight's washday with the TGINatural Moisture Rich Sulfate Free Shampoo. Most naturals don't use nearly as much shampoo as we do conditioner, but all the more with this product...I've used this one bottle at least 3-4 times and have barely made a dent in it. With just 2 quarter-size dollops, I've got later for days...LOL! I like this shampoo in that unlike many others, it did not leave my hair feeling stripped. It felt cleansed, soft, moisturized and I could finger detangle using no other products. It contains coconut oil and alma oil, I'm sure that these two natural oils contributed to the softness of my hair. This is one for the stash.

Pantene Pro-V Truly Natural Co-Wash Cleansing Conditioner

Jan 11, 2015 - Not the Pantene I remember...years ago, I tried a shampoo from Pantene and it left my hair feeling stripped and unmanageable. So since then I had always been hesitant to try any of their newer products; even when the Relaxed and Natural line was released. But since I recently big chopped my hair and after watching several YT videos, I decided to give the Pantene Co-Wash a try. While transitioning I had unsuccessfully tried co-washing so this was another reason I was hesitant to try this product. Happily, my first impression is that I'm loving it. My hair is feeling clean but not stripped, soft, and moisturized. I'm really glad that I gave Pantene Co-Wash a try and will be using it during my natural hair journey.
