Mar 21, 2011 - I'm a 4a and I started using this because I know that shea butter has amazing healing, softening and protecting properties. I like it, and I've pretty much used the whole jar, but it has left me wanting more because I dont really love the way my hair feels afterward. Not sticky, perse, but just...not exactly clean or something. I do use it in combination with some good essential oils to seal it in, though, and that feeling usually goes away and my hair is much softer and less thirsty than it was when I first started using it, less split ends and all that =) However, as pr blackboi said, it doesn't moisturize for long periods so daily or every other day application will probably be necessary :/ I haven't yet used it as a leave-in, though, with wet hair. I'd say try it!.. why not, it's hella cheap, lol, and it does in fact get the job done pretty satisfactorily!!
