Sep 23, 2009 - My last haircut was at the Devashan salon in NYC. It was great haircut and so Amanda had a lot to live up to. She listened to what I wanted and really had a good understanding of how to cut and style curly hair. I walked out of the salon liking my hair as much as I did in NYC. I'd highly recommend her.
Jul 05, 2008 - After reading the reviews I was very excited to get by hair cut with Teresa. I got my hair cut, colored and highlighted. I have wavy/curly hair and it was cut to chin length. She was very nice and I was happy when I left the salon but the next day when I styled it myself I noticed one side was longer than the other- so much so I had a few comments. So I called to make another appointment. When I went back she quickly made a few cuts. I said it still seemed longer on one side and she made a few more and said I was fine (literally I was in the chair for 3 minutes.) I still thought it was uneven but trusted her judgement. When I got home the first thing that was said to me was-I thought you were going to get your hair fixed! So, now I'm off to another salon to get it evened out. What a waste after spending $200! I love the color but am very disappontmented with the cut.
