Nov 04, 2009 - Apparently Malaika is a hit or miss. I took recommendations from this site and went to her, but I will not be going back. She did ask me what I wanted, but she took only 20 minutes to do the cut, and it was terrible,nothing like what I had described, and she told me it was because of how my hair is, that there was nothing she could do about it. I came out looking like Bozo the Clown, my mom told me. I got the worst haircut I've ever had. I'm not usually one to go try to rectify bad cuts, as my hair grows quickly, but this was embarrassing. Emily did a little work to fix the mistake and she was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing despite the problems being almost impossible to fix.
