Sep 06, 2013 - The Bigen Protect and Repair Deep Conditioner lived up to its claims for my Type 4 A B and C hair. The product is very thick and has a nice scent. The 1.75 oz packet was adequate for my chin length, medium-to-thick kinky hair. I always like a lot of conditioner though, so I wouldn't be mad if the company decided to make the packet a little larger. I applied the product after using the Bigen Protect and Repair Shampoo, and as I was smoothing it in, any remaining tangles from the shampoo began to loosen. I put on a shower cap and left the conditioner on my hair for about 10 minutes while I was in the shower, and when I rinsed I noticed a marked increase in the "slippage" factor for my hair. After I rinsed, I did wrap my hair in a towel for a few minutes to soak up some of the water. When I took the towel off, my hair felt so light and clean and not weighed down and not dry at all. 5 curl rating for me on this one. Now I am waiting on Bigen to create a maintenance product for curlies to round out the Protect and Repair hair line. Very nice!
