Jul 19, 2012 - I''m a professional African-American woman and I had been transitioning since March 2011. I had breakage from a bad color job. My hair was the length of the cute short cut of Rihanna. I had been natural before an texturized and figured it wasn't for me. My Soror and sister both go to Hair Rules. My soror has a natural with a fierce cut cut and color. My sister is natural and receives blow outs . I was greeted warmly and offered tea. I met with Katiria and her assistant. I filled out a questionnaire that as detailed as my patient profile for my patients!!!! I told her I needed to keep it "somewhat corporate" but I still wanted a little pizazz with with my color. I showed her some photo of the hues I liked. She was SPOT ON!!! When I looked in the mirror, I felt sexy!!!! Dickey introduced himself and his assistant. My hair was cut and I was given a curly lesson and , by my request, blown straight/flatironed. I love his products. However, I need a light oil on my hair after my leave in to get my curls to be frizz free. The salon is professional, the staff is helpful and courteous. You definitely get what you pay for ( and it ain't cheap!!!) Dickey and Katiria have a client for life!!!!
