May 28, 2014 - For the warmer and more humid months of the year or in the winter during a warm, wet slushy snowstorm or the foggy days of snow melting and steam rising up from it ,this is my favorite gel. I have to laugh at the people who say this is crunchy. All gels dry crunchy into a cast that holds your curls as they dry. Once your hair is bone dry you are supposed to break the cast by either lightly scrunching or running your hands along the side of it as if you are starting a ponytail. Then your style is done. You are not supposed to run around all day in a crunchy cast! Also despite the thinness of this gel it is a a stong gel and probably is not best for wavy, lightly curly hair . To soften rub some conditioner or a water soluble silicone on your hands before you break the cast. In the winter or on cool dry days I only leave in my conditioner or a lighter hold gel like moisture lock or even loreal for curly hair gel when I am on a low budget .I have 3 A, B, and C below shoulder length hair with both fine and regular and course texture. I have low porosity in most of my hair except for the fine hair at the nape of my neck.
